Derek Griffin

 Artist and Owner.

    My Name Is Derek Griffin and I am the Artist here at Black Barn Art and Graphics.  I have a BFA ( Bachelor of Fine Arts) from Oklahoma Panhandle State University,  and have hosted multiple art shows.

    I believe that art in any form should invoke emotion. Be that love, serenity, or pride...etc. Whatever the emotion may be, art just isn't art without sparking some response from the viewer.
   My goal as an artist is to provoke that emotion in which most people try to suppress, Fear!  I do this with images of death and horror, some from movies , and some from my own dark place that I frequent often. Please enjoy my work.
